Yes, through FIDEICOMISO, any foreigner or Mexican national may purchase property anywhere in Mexico. It’s a 50-year renewable Mexican Bank Trust and indefinitely renewable in 50-year increments. There are an estimated one million Americans who currently own property in Mexico.

The fee for this works out to about $500 USD per year.  This may seem quite high but when you consider how low property taxes are (below) it all works out to be fairly reasonable.  We can arrange the bank trust for you upon purchase.
